Do my clients need Zoom or an app to join the call?

No. Your clients join the call in their web browser from the link in their booking email. There is nothing to install and no account to make. The video room is part of Talkspresso, so you do not need a Zoom or Google Meet account either. You join from your Talkspresso bookings page.
Steps
- Before the call: test your camera and microphone, check your internet connection, and find a quiet, well-lit place.
- Join: open talkspresso.com/bookings and press Join. It opens 10 minutes before the start. Allow your camera and microphone if the browser asks.
- During the call: the camera and microphone controls are at the bottom. Share screen shows your screen, Chat sends links, and More options holds recording and more. When the booked time is up, you can add time.
- Recording: nothing records on its own. Start a recording yourself from More options. Recording is on both plans. Your recordings are at talkspresso.com/dashboard/video-library.
- After the call: the call ends a little after the booked time unless you add time. On Pro, free calls have no clock, so you end the call yourself.
What your client needs
- A current web browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- A camera and microphone, and a steady internet connection.
- A laptop, desktop or tablet works best. A phone works too.
Questions people also ask
Can I use my own Zoom link instead?
No. A Talkspresso service is a video call in Talkspresso's room, or an in-person meeting for one-on-one calls. If a client becomes a regular, you can keep working with them wherever you already do.
Can my client join from a phone?
Yes, in the phone's browser. A laptop, desktop or tablet gives a better picture and a steadier call.
What if the video does not connect?
Refresh the page, check that the browser has camera and microphone permission, or try a different browser.
